please visit any Broward County Public School to request a student identification number
for your child prior to completing this application.
 
The home address in the District's student data will be used to determine transportation eligibility
for Magnet Schools. If your information has recently changed, please visit your child's current
Broward County Public School to update.
 
This year, School Choice Phase II is divided into multiple application periods, to provide families with
quicker notifications regarding the status of their child's application.
 
School Choice Phase II applications for Reassignment and Magnet Schools will be accepted for
the 2018/19 school year as follows:
May 1, 2018 - May 8, 2018
June 1, 2018 - June 8, 2018
July 1, 2018 - July 8, 2018
August 13, 2018 - August 27, 2018
 
Parents will be notified of the application status on scheduled selection dates.      
 
If a different magnet school is selected during Phase II (May 1, 2018 to August 27, 2018), the new school
selection will replace any previously selected magnet school from Phase I (December 1, 2017 to February 7, 2018).
If a different reassignment school is selected during Phase II (May 1, 2018 to August 27, 2018), the new school
selection will replace any previously selected reassignment school from Phase I (December 1, 2017 to February 7, 2018).
 
McKay Public School Choice applications for the 2018/19 school year will be accepted beginning May 15, 2018.
